The question came up on Twitter of the many stories in the Purity series (InuYasha based fanfic stories that continue on with the original characters who are the offspring or relatives of everyone's favorite surly inu-hanyou for anyone who's been living under the rock for the past decade or so) written by which was my favorite. It would take at least half a dozen tweets to tell the which and the why. Thus I decided to write it down here and just link this.
My favorite Purity would have to be Purity 4: Justification. The major reason would have to be is because until it's birth, I was patiently waiting for Izayoi Gin (at that point InuYasha's only baby girl) to have her story and to read what man would be worthy of being her mate. Because let's face it, even if you haven't read the stories, if you've watched InuYasha or read the manga, you have a pretty good idea of what kind of person that inu-hanyou is and what kind of overprotective daddy he'd make over any baby girl Kagome gave him. Thus there was this whole build-up wait for it that P4 fulfilled.
Plus I love Gin as character as a whole, mainly because I see share some traits as her, such as not always thinking before speaking which leads to humorous and yet embarrassing moments (I still have never achieved a "Do me later" moment though) and like her I have obsession with Reese's peanut butter cups and go all ninja assassin when the holiday cups come out. We shall not go into the disappoint that was Christmas 2013 when there was not a Reese's peanut butter Christmas-tree shaped cups to be had in my town (sadly I had no Evan to surprise me with a box of them). There's a couple other similarities but those are the most noticeable shared quirks.
Then there's just the fact that despite what any could see were impossible odds (overprotective InuYasha papa and equally protective baka twin brothers), she found a man to love who was her everything. I still haven't found my "Cain", but reading P4 gives me hope that I will one day. If Gin can, then anyone can.
The story was a wonderful roller coaster of emotions and it had the plus for being 2-for-1 deal with two couples in one story falling in love. And one has to enjoy the deep intellectual discussion on balls at the end.

Eclipse
Alright, so I've basically had a writing hiatus for over two years (bad writer, bad!) and now I'm trying to get back into the swing of things of and finding my groove while juggling working full-time, being a full-time grad student, and just having me time (which could mean anything from personal reading, gaming, or binge watching). To start off this back to writing thing, I've been going over what I've already written and editing (amazing what mistakes you don't catch the first few dozen rereads and edits) and I've also plan to add to my ongoing stories (more details in chapters or sneaking in new chapters that will add to the story), as wel
Dark Side of the Moon
So I'm totally thrilled of how well received my Sailor Moon fanfic, "Dark Side of the Moon". It's my current baby that I'm focusing on and just going by how many views it has on Fanfiction.net (almost 4000), it's getting a fair share of love from people reading it. I'm really enjoying delving into how things could have gone if Usagi has been turned evil and surprised at how wicked and cruel she can become after being brainwashed into believing that she's unloved and hated as Chibi-Usa was in the anime.
I think I'm going take some time to check out Sailor Moon fanart, to find an artist who I like and who has an open commission shop to draw my
Doggy Guilt Trip
Dogs are very good at guilt tripping their humans. I was snacking on crackers and was about to put away the rest of the bag when I made the mistake of looking at Lily, who as laying in her bed. She was just staring at me with those big woe-is-me brown eyes that looked so hurt that I wasn't going to give her a cracker. So, of course, I broke down and gave her a cracker. After she ate her cracker she repaid me by cuddling, so I guess we're even.
Oculus
So although it wasn't part of the game plan for tonight, I wound up going to see "Oculus". The verdict? First of all I don't see why it wasn't even rated R. They could have just rated it PG-15, in my opinion. Secondly it wasn't worth the money spent to see it in theaters; if you haven't seen it yet, I suggest saving your money and waiting until you rent the DVD or it comes out on Netflix. It wasn't even even scary despite what the trailers hinted at and the ending just irritates on me so many levels.

lol the balls! You know, I tend to forget that whole discussion until someone reminds me of it. In one sense, P4 was my favorite, and it still is, and I'm glad that you've enjoyed it as much as you have, absolutely!
